Over the past 16 days, human rights defenders globally united against Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and as the Democracy and Legal Aid Center (DLAC), we actively participated in this crucial activism.
Our Youth Champions team deserves heartfelt appreciation for their exceptional efforts in spreading awareness and advocating for change. Special thanks to Kenya Broadcasting Network (KBC English Service) and Mtaani Radio for providing us with a platform to voice our stance against GBV.
Acknowledgment goes to our dedicated legal team, whose expertise and support have been instrumental in aiding GBV victims. Gratitude extends to our esteemed partners, IJM Kenya and KiJIN, for organizing a forum aimed at sensitizing the local community in Kiambiu on GBV and human rights.
As we conclude these 16 days of activism, we recognize that our work doesn’t end here. We remain committed to educating, informing, and collaborating to ensure the eradication of gender-based violence. Together, let us continue this vital journey towards a world free from GBV.
